The Ghana National Ambulance Service (GNAS) has named Adom Fm’s Morning Show Host, Godsbrain Smart popularly known as Captain Smart, as its brands Ambassador.

 

Confirming this at a press conference yesterday, the deputy Minister of Health and Member of Parliament (MP) for Weija – Gbawe constituency, Hon. Tina Naa Ayeley Mensah said the ministry was content to appoint the experienced and famous journalist to assist the ministry raise funds and other logistics to equip the service.

 

She noted that the ministry’s decision to bring on a brands ambassador was to help streamline the mobilization process to help raise more funds to equip the service and save lives.

 

He was thus given a plaque by the ministry to symbolize his appointment and readiness as ambassador for service.

 

Captain Smart, on his part expressed his gratitude to the ministry for the confidence reposed on him and promised to work tirelessly to help achieve a goal.

 

The Ghana national ambulance service is the emergency response wing of the National Health Service (NHS). The ambulance service has two main functions: an accident and emergency paramedical function, and Patient Transport service function which transfer immobile patients to and fro.
