Minister of Health Kwaku Agyeman Manu has said with the ongoing earmarking for rehabilitation of hospitals, Saltpond Hospital has been captured for redevelopment in the Ministry’s Capital investment budget for 2019.
According to the Minister, the Health Ministry is aware of the condition of the Hospital and for the past three years funds was being looked for to redevelop the facility.
And has been ranked 5 th for rehabilitation in the Central Region, but told the House he was
unable to visit Saltpond Hospital during his feminization tour.
